Australia defeated England in 2nd ODI


Australia Won 2nd ODI by 88 runs


       Australia defeated England in 2nd ODI by 88 runs at Old Trafford, Manchester. Eoin Morgan England’s skipper won the toss and elected to field first. In very first over St Finn took the wicket of Marsh. Australia’s score reached 100 in 19.5 over’s.  Australia’s skipper Michael Clarke and vice captain George bailey scored 155 runs at 4th wicket. Skipper scored 105(102 balls), made his eight hundred in ODI’s. Bailley scored 82 at 67 balls, with 5 boundaries and 4 sixes. Australia made 315/7 in 50 over.

       England loses quick wickets in start.  In 10.2 over’s England loses his 3rd wicket for 38 runs. Kevin pietersen and skipper Eoin Morgan contributed 59 runs at 4th wicket. Pietersen scored 60 runs and skipper scored 54 runs. At ninth wicket buttler and finn contributed 47 runs to England total. England dismissed for 227 runs in 44.2 over’s. Client Mckay took 3 wickets. Australia‘s skipper, Michael Clarke was the man of the match for his brilliant hundred.

       Australia leads the 5 match series by 1-0. 3rd Match will be played on Wednesday, 11th September at Birmingham. Match results are as follows:
